Library of Tukaram Baburao Kadam College of Arts, Science & Commerce,Bharne is run by the Kunbi Shikshan Prasark Sanstha, Khed-Mumbai. It is affiliated to Mumbai University, Mumbai. The basic function of any document is its use and hence a user occupies important place in functioning of the library.College library has its own importance in higher education. It helps in widening the range of knowledge and information of teachers and students.

We welcome the Users for library services. A brief Profile of the library along with services offered and rules given below will help a reader to use the library effectively. The College has Arts, Science & Commerce faculty and more than 804 Students are taking education. The college has teaching and nonteaching staff of 35.

Our college library has tried its level best to provide necessary material to all the components of the college and looked after the quantitative & qualitative growth in library facilities. Our institution has fully automated library as a learning resource center. Our library is computerized with bar-coding of books, Circulation, and library membership cards. The library has purchased Microsys (Windows based software) developed by Microsys Software Pvt. Ltd. Vengurla. Library is utilizing this software from August 2014 and today library has updated to cloud based version of Microsys (Windows based software) .
Library is open to the students and teachers. The students and teachers can have access and can freely use the library on all working days. All measures of security of library are taken. Librarian and staff take care of security of library materials. Necessary pesticides and chemicals are used for protection of Books, and News Papers. Support facilities available in the library are computer, Internet, N-List, Bandwidth, etc.
Each and every activity of library is managed through Microsys (Windows based software), it is useful for accession of books, and books issue and return, Microsys (Windows based software) gives details information about library users and all types of books OPAC, system etc. Microsys (Windows based software) gives details information about library users and all types of books.

Vision

College library is expected to support the objective of the college. Thus, the basic function of college library is to assist and provide access to the human records required by the educational community for the successful pursuit of academic programme prescribed by the university to which it is affiliated. Library is serving the needs and requirements of the teachers and students in reading, study and research by the ways.

Issue Counter timings: 9.00a.m. to 4.00p.m.
Internet Surfing: 10.00a.m. to 3.00p.m.
Reading Room: 8.00a.m. to 5.00 pm

Library Rules & Regulations

Identity Card is Compulsory for getting access to the library
Silence to be maintains.
No discussion permitted inside the library.
Registration should be done to become a library member prior to using the library resources.
Use of Mobile phones and audio instruments with or without speaker or headphone is strictly prohibited in the library premises.
Enter your name and sign in the register kept at the entrance counter before entering library.

Circulation

Books will be issued on providing the library card along with the ID card. Students are instructed to check the books while borrowing and they will be responsible for any type of damage or mutilation noticed at the time of return.

Overdue Charges

Materials borrowed should be returned on or before the due stamped, if returned late overdue fine will be charged for the delayed period.

Book Lost

If the books are lost, then the borrower shall replace the books of the same edition or latest edition or pay double cost of the books after getting permission from the librarian.

Total Collection

The fifth law of library science namely “Library is Growing Organism” is also one of the goals of our library .

During the year 2019-20 the books of Rs. 2,50,000 has been added in the library. We have 5000 books. Various periodicals of national repute have been made available. 10 daily newspapers of state and National level in English, Hindi and Marathi. Magazine on various disciplines are subscribed. The library has a special collection of competitive exams.
